In 1993 I attend a two-week summer program that changed my life.  It was there that my paintbrushes were replaced with palette knives -- and I was mentored by the internationally known artist, Wosene.

This week, 15 years later, I had the opportunity to stand on the auditorium stage and look out at all the students and speak about my project: The Community Collection.
